How to Import Files and Scan Images from Files?

You can easily add images or PDF files to DocScan in two ways:

Import from Inside DocScan

1. Tap the ＋  button on the home screen to start scanning.

   

2. When the camera screen appears, tap the “Files” button in the bottom right corner.

   

3. Choose whether you want to import PDFs or Images (JPEG, PNG).

   

4. Tap the Files.

   

5. Browse and select your files from the Files app and tap on Open.

   

6. The files you select will be imported as a new document in DocScan.

Import from Other Apps (Using Share)

1. Open the image or PDF in another app (such as Files, Mail, or Drive).

2. Tap the Share button.

   

3. In the share menu, select Open in DocScan (tap More if you don’t see it).

   

4. DocScan will open and automatically import the file as a new document.
