Why Was My Fax Not Received?

If you or your recipient did not receive a fax, there could be several common reasons. Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

Tip: Faxing is a real-time communication method. Sometimes, delays or failures can occur due to recipient device or line issues. Please try again later or confirm the recipient’s fax machine status.


🔸 Check the Fax Number

  • Double-check that you entered the correct fax number, including the country code, area code, and the full number.
  • We recommend copying and pasting the number to avoid manual entry errors.

🔸 Recipient’s Fax Machine Status

  • The recipient’s fax machine may be turned off, busy, out of paper, or temporarily unable to receive faxes.
  • Contact the recipient to confirm that their fax machine is working properly and ready to receive faxes.

🔸 File Format and Size

  • Make sure your file is in a supported format (such as PDF or JPG).
  • Large files or documents with many pages may fail to send. Try splitting the document or reducing the file size.

🔸 Network Connection

  • Ensure your device has a stable internet connection. Network interruptions can cause fax failures.

  • Invalid number: Please verify the number format.
  • Recipient busy: Try again later or contact the recipient to check their machine.
  • File too large: Split the document or compress the file.
